As the first female author in the UK to publish a groundbreaking book on the correlation between COVID-19 and Energy Transition, titled "The Renaissance of Smart Energy," Dr Calik's knowledge is unmatched. Dr Calik's influence extends to the international stage as a UN Climate Change Observer since 2015. At COP26, she delivered a powerful speech on renewable energy and the Mediterranean dispute in Glasgow.
